i applied for numerous scholarships, but did not receive any outside of college offerings. i have 3. which is ok.
but my sister got over 20. which is great for her, but automatically set me up for failure: my mom decided that it wasn’t worth going to.
it just reinforces this idea that i’m not good enough. and that is terribly embarrassing.
